Restoration is finished after nine long months. I detailed the car inside and out and tomorrow she'll go into the trailer for the journey to Frisco Texas and the NCRS Texas Regional Convention and Judging.

Stay tuned for a report on the final cost breakdown for the restoration, but in total, it added up to $25,083.31. That's a bit under what I expected to spend for a complete mechanical restoration of all components, including engine, transmission, and rear differential. Thankfully, the interior is showing as essentially brand new, and the paint, though there are a bunch of rock chips in various places, is also in good shape. These two components alone, paint and interior, saved me thousands of dollars in repairs and were two of the main reasons I decided to restore the car.

I'll also post the results of the judging. I'm hoping for a Top Flight Score, 94% or better, judging against how the car would have looked when it rolled off the factory assembly line 51 years ago.
